What is a periodic test?
A periodic test will give you an overview of the condition of the electrical installations in your property and also outline any areas that do not meet current standards. Upon completion of the inspection, I’ll issue you with a full report on any remedial works that maybe required to bring the installation up to standards.
The report will ensure your property and ultimately your tenants safety, giving you peace of mind.
What does a periodic test include?
- Inspection reveals if any of your electrical circuits or equipment is overloaded
- Find any potential electrical shock risks and fire hazards in your electrical installation
- Identify any defective electrical work
- Inspection highlights any lack of earthing or bonding
- Full report/certificate showing the condition of your installation
How often do I need a periodic test?
Optimally all electrical installations should be fully certified at least every 5 years. Though I recommend annual 100% visual examinations with a 20% test of your installation.
